The duo made by Paolo Fresu and Uri Caine is the story of the fortunate encounter between two great personalities of modern jazz.
The two great musicians enjoy to the play the sounds with amazing simplicity, and they are able to convey the hallmark of this extraordinary music.
Their encounter is one of the most interesting coincidences in the jazz world of recent years.
The lyrical and dreamy trumpet of Fresu, his melancholic and dreamy stamp, is brilliantly matched with Uri Caine’s piano, made of thousands of quotations, from American song, blues, from mainstream jazz to avant-garde music to classical music. Caine has revised and corrected according to her personal parameters in many solo projects published over the past 10 years.
