Snow causes possible delays with shipments.

Dear Food & Wine Lover,

excuse us for possible delays with shipments and deliveries, are due to the emergency about snow in Puglia.

You can still make your orders, we commit ourselves to evading and to ship them as soon as possible.

Our warehouse is located in Santeramo in Colle (Bari, Puglia, Italy), in the Bari’s metropolitan district on the border of the provinces of Taranto and Matera, one of the areas most affected by the bad weather that invested much of southern Italy during the weekend 6-8 January 2017 with accumulations of snow by 50 cm to 1 mt, exceptional amount for our area. Even our suppliers are located in the same territory.

An exceptional event, we ask you to forgive us since we might not be able to respect our shipping days (Monday and Tuesday) due to difficult conditions of the extra urban connections roads.

What worries us at this time is also the situation of many farms in the Murgia’s territory (like the one of our friend Giuseppe Caponio > www.affaritaliani.it/puglia/la-lettera-di-giuseppe-caponio- Us-abandoned-457727.html).

Fingers crossed for them and hope the damage are not irreparable.
