At the ISA’s workshop in via Garibaldi 73 and at the Bar Magia in via G.Elia 9, there will be: cultural aperitifs, an exhibition of illustrated poems, creative sowing for children and an exhibition on apulian biodiversity, workshops and demonstrations of crochet, knitting, 3d printing …

Arcobaleno in Dispensa was born from the will of Alessio Magistro and Nico Paulangelo. The want is to activate contaminations between crafts, food and art, three of the sectors on which the relaunch of Puglia and Basilicata is being founded. The idea is to set up temporary spaces in which the distances are canceled between producer / artist and user / consumer.

Dispensa dei Tipici is a Territorial Marketing project, something more than just e-commerce. Starting with the love for the Murgia, Puglia and Basilicata – in southern Italy – the idea is to increase awarenes of Typical Products, inviting consumers to travel the production area and to discover companies, culture and traditions.

ISA – Sustainable Business of Artisan women is a group of young women who bring values, experiences and resources together to establish themselves as a women’s craft enterprise based on innovation, reuse, creativity and relationship. ISA is an innovative company that, in addition to creating social value and opportunities for growth for itself and for its territory, convert waste materials or unused objects into new design objects and green products. ISA contributes to reducing the waste of business and to give value to waste materials.

On 30th April, for the International Jazz Day, Associazione Nel Gioco del Jazz, wtih the I-Jazz network, with the partnership of UNESCO and the contribution of MIBACT, organizes an entire day dedicated to music, culture and territory, between Castel del Monte and the city of Andria.

The idea is to propose a day in which the music bring attention on apulian culture, passing through traditions and handicraft productions, to enhance the great enogastronomic heritage exalted in its typical territoriality.

The main lap of this experience will be Castel del Monte, venue of the concert of the Roberto Ottaviano QuarkTet (*free concert, reservations required), the Confettificio Mucci Museum, the Torrevento Winery, the Andria historical centre.

We should stop constructing streets and palaces, we should recover the recoverable and plant again a lot trees.

A few days ago, the Italian newspaper Repubblica reported on the first page, in a beautiful view, a photo of a road crossing green land, in a fall in Berlin, titled “Only trees will save cities from smog” while Lancet have been published the results of a research that shows that in 2015 the pollution caused 9 million deaths. the Italian newspaper Repubblica has reported that “rebuilding destroyed forests would eliminate the pollution of 650 million cars”.

And we continue to destroy natural soils, cementing and waterproofing them (every day 100 hectares of natural soils are waterproofed in Italy).

In the past many times ago, among the pleasures they proclaimed, the “gentlemen” used to boast of having a farm where they could find everything that constituted the so-called “family satisfaction”, outside of the city walls. From this came the name “garden”, a place of delight and pleasure, which is still preserved unchanged in the local italian dialect “sciardine” or “ciardine” (Sada, 1991). Too often these goals are more exposed for fashion and habit than for real understanding of what is happening in the world.

We should stop building roads and palaces, recovering the recoverable and planting trees all around.

In view of a next election or municipal, regional or national voting session, we should try to see which commitments will take the candidates in this direction. It all seems simple, even this speech, but in the meantime the green decreases and the cement (even the word) increases.
